My experience during Primavera Kaze was challenging, tiring yet a wonderful experience for me. My job before cafe opening was cleanup crew then runner with Ahki basically if anyone needed help we would help them but during the opening i was assigned to the bust out station and helping servers and calling chiefs for food at first i didn’t know what to do because everything is happening so fast and you need to keep up. Second day was the same chaos but more organized compared to the first day. The only difference was I was in the kitchen and servers had to run. All the way to the kitchen to the dining area I felt kinda bad for them but at least they are happy and got paid.
Overall, I would like to thank all the teachers and the teachers that helped me in the first place. They helped me come up with a system. My batchmates and everyone who bought food and drinks or helped us, it was a memorable experience in my high school life.
My tips for upcoming grade 10 is to make a system that is solid, well organized and fast. The Chef and servers always check the food, if something is going wrong or is not going your way or you don't know what to do, just calm down and think and invest a lot because if you don’t believe you can do it, who will?
